Adding to the suite of common optional accessories available for the SDMS MK5, MK5A, and Uprated MK5A Bomb Disposal Suits, is the CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and/or Nuclear) Over Suit designed to protect the wearer and the EOD suit from contact with those substances in an environment contaminated by such weapons of attack and a wide range of other industrial chemicals. Meeting ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) and NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) requirements the Over Suit has been redundantly and aggressively tested against chemicals and agents, including those suggested as potential WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction) terrorist agents and military CBRN agents.
