MK2 Hook and Line Kit

In use for more than 20 years the MK2 Hook and Line Kit was originally designed for the British Army to enable EOD teams to remotely manipulate a suspect explosive device without being too close to be injured by it.  The equipment is regarded as essential kit for any team dealing with explosives and is now a standard item for the British Army and most NATO countries.

The MK2 Kit has recently been extended to include an new range of components for dealing with a wide variety of containers that can be used for housing a terrorist bomb.

The equipment is also used by EOD operators to remotely gain access to a difficult location where a suspect device might be located, and to remove a device once it is discovered.  With the use of the MK2 Hook and Line Kit an operator can be distanced for the device by two lines, each 120 metres long.
