Terms and Conditions of Business
Prepayment, in UK Pounds Sterling, is required for all orders, unless otherwise agreed. Our prices are EXW. Should you require a quotation to include insurance and shipping by parcel post, courier, airfreight or seafreight, we will be pleased to provide one.
Normal payment terms are 100% in advance unless otherwise agreed by us in writing. Terms for government clients may vary by mutual consent.
Please allow 14 days from completion of order for delivery of stock items. Delivery of items not held in stock will be advised accordingly.
Certain products may not be exported from the United Kingdom without specific approval by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. The Export Licence will normally be applied for by SDMS but generally takes 20 working days to obtain, and can cause a delay in delivery. In order to obtain an Export Licence we shall require the End User (or in some instances the Consignee) to provide us with an End User Undertaking, certifying that the product(s) will be used for the purposes declared; that the goods will not be used for any purpose connected with chemical, nuclear or biological weapons, or missiles capable of carrying such weapons; that the goods will not be re-exported, or otherwise re-sold or transferred if it is known or suspected that they are intended or likely to be used for such purposes; that the goods will not be re-exported or otherwise re-sold or transferred to a destination subject to UN, EU or OSCE embargo where that act would be in breach of the terms of that embargo; and that the goods, or any replica of them, will not be used in any nuclear explosive activity or unsafeguarded nuclear fuel cycle. SDMS reserves the right to refuse shipment on any order not receiving the necessary licence.
